This week we were assigned to draw people in their environment. I defiantly think I am improving on observing and drawing figures, but i am struggling still with capturing facial characteristics.
This was drawn at the CoffeeBreak off Spring Garden Street. The mans face is off but I tried to capture the outside scene beyond the windows. I intentionally spilled my mocha on the end of the drawing but you cant really tell what it is scanned on here. Looks a bit better in my sketchbook.

I really like this one, I think because of the outside landscape. It was nice to go to more organic forms in the background.
This is my roommate and what she does best. Lay in bed watching lifetime.
